Vertical version focusing on mermaid

Imagine walking down the beach and stumbling upon this vision: This mermaid is stranded. Too much frolicking in the surf made her lose track of time and trapped her in this little cove of weathered, golden limestone, complete with tidal pools. She must now wait for the high tide so she can return to her own domain. The wistful, longing look on her face, the green eyes and arched brows, and the nonchalant pose add to the overall mood of this print.

This print is available in two different versions: one showing the mermaid figure in a landscape, the other focusing on the mermaid figure by itself. Contact the artist   if you are interested n this image.

From a poem, written by the aritst (excerpt):

Where the deep ventures in
to the pulse of a deep oceans' heart,
There will I rest and dream—
waiting for the tide to turn.

This is the first print in a series entitled "Isle La Sirenes."
